Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horaţiu Bacalbașa started the match with the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 6th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes Bacardi Black Bats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Brudzisz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 26 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Brudzisz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bacardi Black Bats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 32nd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Brudzisz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Andino's late challenge caught a Bacardi Black Bats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Andino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bacardi Black Bats booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Artur Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Brudzisz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. Bacardi Black Bats made a substitution. Alexandre Mafra replaced Quentin Platt. Bacardi Black Bats's Alexandre Mourinho was substituted for Cristóvão França. Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Horaţiu Bacalbașa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacardi Black Bats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Bacalbașa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 91st minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brudzisz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
