When Aaron Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Aaron Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Anthon Svanér hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Niclas Hjälm came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdish Warriors's Sven-Arne Gustafsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Niclas Hjälm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Ingvar Asmundsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Wictor Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kurdish Warriors's Wictor Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panama were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after FC Kurdish Warriors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Tomas Berganza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wictor Hagström. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wictor Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Gustafsson in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Panama were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Christoffersson in the 51st minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Christoffersson in the 53rd minute of play. Wictor Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Kurdish Warriors defense, Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wictor Hagström. The FC Kurdish Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wictor Hagström should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 64th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wictor Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Wictor Hagström. FC Kurdish Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 74th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmy Hasselqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Hagström having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Niclas Hjälm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kurdish Warriors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. With 89 minutes on the clock, Matthew Garrido commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Anthon Svanér placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, FC Kurdish Warriors's Sven-Arne Gustafsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Hagström having to interfere. Edvin Johnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvin Johnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Panama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
