In the 19th minute of the match, Dendi Ishutin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Orlando Casaus sped through Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blas Colas. 26 minutes into the match, Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Dendi Ishutin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heitor Quental who took care of the corner kick. Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Heitor Quental was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Blas Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ from getting a goal against them. Blas Colas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute. Heitor Quental charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heitor Quental the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Heitor Quental hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 56th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Colas having to make a save. Blas Colas made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Blas Colas could save by the left post. The supporters of Chile booed when Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Quental didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Baldomero Perrando was substituted for Sebastian Gonzales. Heitor Quental hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dendi Ishutin in the 76th minute of the match. Blas Colas was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Blas Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ were victorious despite being under pressure from Chile for much of the match.
