Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Morten Hestad took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd play minute Morten Hestad came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lautaro Navarro. 1-0. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Waaler having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Kristian Sandersen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Kristian Sandersen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Dan Ødegaard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dan Ødegaard really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Morten Hestad's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christer Waaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 21st minute of play. Jon Hesjedal made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. After 27 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Dan Ødegaard. A hard shot 35 in the game by Rune Gjessing from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. Rune Gjessing scored 4-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Jon Hesjedal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Gjessing during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rune Gjessing hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Hestad in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Gjessing in the 64th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Kenneth Leidland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsnes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The long shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 69th minute really tested Christer Waaler's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dan Ødegaard hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Villa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Morten Hestad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The supporters of Honduras booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. John-Einar Bøen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Gjessing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morten Hestad in the 91st minute of the match. The Åsnes support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
