Timos Kazantzou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timos Kazantzou in the 8th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Kazantzou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timos Kazantzou went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Marcus Wassenius managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emmanuel Reyes in the 19 minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roch Grondzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 26th minute of the match, Timos Kazantzou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 29th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Roch Grondzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Ekström tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Roch Grondzki. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timos Kazantzou in the 60th minute of play.
