But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Cole couldn't finish the play. Egun Pais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lokon Pøhl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Gernando Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta Negra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when Floresta Negra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Bazkoare didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Egun Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Gamarra hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Andy Cole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Areion Koulpasis. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egun Pais was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ignacio Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Egun Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais got control of the ball when Santino Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Jardel Lewandowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jardel Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Jardel Lewandowski notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Floresta Negra FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
