Raimundo Espírito Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 12th minute, Juventus PTM's Raimundo Espírito Santo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Koray Karan fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus PTM's protests and gave Koray Karan a yellow card for diving instead. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Luis Cazalla. 21 minutes in the game, Raimundo Espírito Santo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Raimundo Espírito Santo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Espírito Santo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yenal Tanır got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo Espírito Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Gazza having to make a save. Armando Gazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 40th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Távora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Juventus PTM were awarded a corner. Vidar Albäck went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Vidar Albäck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Espírito Santo to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Armando Gazza threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alex Acatincăi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Ignacio Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Gazza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 63rd minute of the match. Juventus PTM's Petre Mitică was substituted for Vidar Albäck. Juventus PTM made a substitution. Patrick Viera replaced Alex Acatincăi. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Armando Gazza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Secada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 70 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Yenal Tanır managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 80th play minute Abram Secada came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armando Gazza. 2-2. Abram Sarmiento did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Armando Gazza 85 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Honcioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Ferdinand Honcioiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
