Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dietrich Beuschlein's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. TSV Trudering were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha took the corner. The corner ended in Dietrich Beuschlein almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. TSV Trudering's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha in the 26th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Frederick Böhmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederick Böhmer having to make a save. After 46 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With his leg Frederick Böhmer managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, TSV Trudering's Frederick Böhmer got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 minutes, Lysander Oestmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TSV Trudering and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, TSV Trudering was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lysander Oestmann to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Frederick Böhmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play forced TSV Trudering's goalkeeper Frederick Böhmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Felix Kuschel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Frederick Böhmer in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rdth minute of the game Pascal Busch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
