When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Harnaś Sanok booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kacper Malewicki was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes FC Harnaś Sanok got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Labus. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Tomas Illescas in the 67thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mikolaj Malewicki had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With his leg Mikolaj Malewicki managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Malewicki having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
