Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Cole in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Egun Pais in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gernando Rocha got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jerzy Zjawin. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Cole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lokon Pøhl in the 21st minute of play. When Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. The referee ignored Floresta Negra FC's protests and gave Carlos Fernando Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Azevedo. Egun Pais came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alto Muro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Gernando Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Cole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Hector Bazkoare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floresta Negra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Hector Bazkoare hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Lokon Pøhl came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Lokon Pøhl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexsandro Mandrak replaced Hector Bazkoare. Egun Pais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Floresta Negra FC's Areion Koulpasis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
