Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind KEFERZİ.GENÇLİKSPOR's goalkeeper Santiago Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Yağızalp Vargın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yağızalp Vargın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. KEFERZİ.GENÇLİKSPOR's Yağızalp Vargın got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes KEFERZİ.GENÇLİKSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Çağan Hacıfettahoğlu. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but KEFERZİ.GENÇLİKSPOR were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
