Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Rayo Bengala got a freekick which was hit by Çağan Ros. In the 6th minute Macabeo Sampil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rayo Bengala's Bernard Rienda got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Artur Boruc in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Boruc, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Artur Boruc. Rayo Bengala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Boruc having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced Rayo Bengala's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Çağan Ros in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Çağan Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Macabeo Sampil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macabeo Sampil in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Julen Castellano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerio Etxeberria, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macabeo Sampil in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Macabeo Sampil made the kick off in the second half. Macabeo Sampil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes in the game, Julen Castellano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macabeo Sampil in the 56th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Macabeo Sampil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Macabeo Sampil really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nerio Etxeberria got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macabeo Sampil in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macabeo Sampil in the 67th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Julen Castellano came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Rayo Bengala made a substitution. Muntis Stiebriņsons replaced Macabeo Sampil. The supporters of Rayo Bengala booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Policarpio Lama in the 78th minute of play. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Muntis Stiebriņsons scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-3. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rayo Bengala's Palacios Bobes was substituted for Policarpio Lama. Julen Castellano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Rienda hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rayo Bengala's Bernard Rienda suffered a sore knee after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Rayo Bengala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Rayo Bengala made a substitution. Alfons Pascua replaced Bernard Rienda. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute of play forced Rayo Bengala's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Rayo Bengala's Nerio Etxeberria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Rayo Bengala left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
