Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Blochowiak in the 3rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Esteves. Brokopondo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Wieslaw Kalak came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Brokopondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wieslaw Kalak couldn't finish the play. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Bejrut in the 21st minute. With an all-out effort, Brokopondo's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barnaba Blochowiak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 25 minutes into the match, Brokopondo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Mauro Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Esteves. Brokopondo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Brokopondo's Tobiasz Derlanga got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Kalak. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnaba Blochowiak made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Esteves. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mauro Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Che Guevara in the 58th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Brokopondo made a substitution. Zbyszko Rakowski replaced Tobiasz Derlanga. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Barnaba Blochowiak made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Brokopondo's Wieslaw Kalak got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute, Barnaba Blochowiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute of the match Brokopondo got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Barnaba Blochowiak ran over to the corner to take the kick. 정 남 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Brokopondo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. 정 남 hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, 정 남 notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrzej Klawki's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrzej Klawki helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brokopondo! Mauro Esteves went to the wrong direction when Joel Gaona was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Esteves. Mauro Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Klawki in the 98th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
