Shen Yi Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Shen Yi Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Shen Yi Yuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Goblins F.C.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shen Yi Yuan came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shen Yi Yuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Edvard Carlsson made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 42nd minute Edvard Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edvard Carlsson 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Gilvan Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Carlsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Stephen in the 60th minute of the match. After 71 minutes Goblins F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Shen Yi Yuan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Carlsson in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Shen Yi Yuan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Shen Yi Yuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Edvard Carlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Augusto Stephen struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Shen Yi Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Goblins F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
