Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ensar Secaattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 16th minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuma Oruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Amado Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Arotza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Cuma Oruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Cozac made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cuma Oruk. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuma Oruk in the 28th minute of play. Cuma Oruk took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ensar Secaattin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆'s Ensar Secaattin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ensar Secaattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Özer Elgün made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Arotza in the 56th minute of play. Bernard Solarek's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
