Damaso Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Cityzens Mdz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Argider to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. If Damaso Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Melkior Thorslev in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Melkior Thorslev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Damaso Lain came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Cityzens Mdz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Lain couldn't finish the play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Ignacio Mastache scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melkior Thorslev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Damaso Lain made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Damaso Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cityzens Mdz were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
