Racing Club's Joaquin Uxio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İskender Baki Sabi to strike the kick off in the second half. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes Racing Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. The corner led USA's Jenson Smith to fire away a dangerous shot which Olavo Henriques despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Olavo Henriques came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Racing Club made a substitution. Godofredo Remigio replaced Fernandinho Rivera. Racing Club's Tayyar Taner was substituted for Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Remigio went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Edward Mcdonald made a precise shot to the right of Olavo Henriques. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Geronimo Salomone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Godofredo Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Salomone in the 82nd minute of play. Jacob May came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olavo Henriques could save by the left post. With a little luck, Racing Club's Olavo Henriques got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Khalid Parry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olavo Henriques. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olavo Henriques should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club.
