Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mauro Boselli started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Shuspendemo defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Vellito. The Shuspendemo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Vellito should have stopped the shot. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Boselli in the 13th minute of play. After 18 minutes Shuspendemo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Mina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 23rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Shuspendemo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ismael Vellito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Boselli in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Mauro Boselli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Mauro Boselli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mauro Boselli 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Lisandro Martínez made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Ismael Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Mauro Boselli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Mauro Boselli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Shuspendemo's Diego Gerber was substituted for Mikolaj Biraga. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Réda Kolb replaced Mauro Boselli. 65 minutes into the match, Réda Kolb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Réda Kolb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Amado Laurin replaced Enrique Silban. 70 minutes into the match, Réda Kolb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Réda Kolb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Réda Kolb, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ismael Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Réda Kolb in the 81st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 86th minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Ismael Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shuspendemo had won after a very even match.
