When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Leopoldo Liberto put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Daniel Moron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boulogne del Ciclón's Gogo Gabrio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leopoldo Liberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. Boulogne del Ciclón's Daniel Moron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Moron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boulogne del Ciclón's goalie prevented a goal. Peru were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Boulogne del Ciclón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Moron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Moron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Moreira made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Moron. Daniel Moron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The throw-in from Sandro Moreira in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. With an all-out effort, Peru's Daniel Moron threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 58 minutes into the match, Boulogne del Ciclón's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Daniel Moron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Joaquin Prats quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandro Moreira, made in the 61st minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Liberto in the 64th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Liberto in the 70th minute of the match. Boulogne del Ciclón made a substitution. Bonifacio Monte replaced Gregorio Gagriel. After a rather tough play, Boulogne del Ciclón's Dagoberto Pitta got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Bonifacio Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boulogne del Ciclón's goalie prevented a goal. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Zhen Ang in the 82nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Moron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 87th minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. With a little luck, Boulogne del Ciclón's Daniel Moron got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
