The corner ended in Robert Zdrojowy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Eduard Zdrenţu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Robert Zdrojowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Robert Zdrojowy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brda Przechlewo's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Zdrojowy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Brda Przechlewo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Robert Zdrojowy hit a great ball. Gilbert Sanocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gilbert Sanocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Pilsudski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play forced Brda Przechlewo's goalkeeper Gilbert Sanocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brda Przechlewo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gilbert Sanocki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 92nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Sanocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Sanocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to Brda Przechlewo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ernest Aldulescu hit a great ball. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
