After a rather tough play, Chile's Jose Manzanedo got a free kick in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Zarco got free with Thiago Pliego in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 8 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vítor Bettencourt who took care of the corner kick. Bento Azenha kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Chile's Pedro Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bento Azenha in the 14 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Neto saved SC Luzim from getting behind. After having played for 19 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
