The supporters of CeciForEver booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valentin Costante fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CeciForEver's protests and gave Valentin Costante a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CeciForEver getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Valentin Costante hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Jakue was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes CeciForEver got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Inautzi. When CeciForEver's Omar Jakue in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Inautzi in the 71st minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Fermin Basajaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Basajaun having to interfere. Omar Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CeciForEver's Filomeno Jon got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fermin Basajaun made a huge save. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Romeo Micael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CeciForEver.
