Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. When Wieslaw Ochylski fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund's protests and gave Wieslaw Ochylski a yellow card for diving instead. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Wieslaw Ochylski with Lucjan Maziarz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 10th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Tolek Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Borussia Dortmund's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Honduras's Esteban Carvallo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 19 minutes, Valentín Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Lautaro Navarro, was totally fooled by Borussia Dortmund's Rafal Dziedziak, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kajetan Banan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Espiga scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolek Tyski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Honduras booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Banan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hieronim Logewnik kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tolek Tyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Logewnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wieslaw Ochylski made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lucjan Maziarz immediately put the ball in play. After the first half Honduras were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Banan in the 52nd minute of play. Tolek Tyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Jenkot in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Hieronim Logewnik got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Radomil Jenkot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Jenkot in the 68th minute of play. When Damian Dranka fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund's protests and gave Damian Dranka a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Dranka hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Radomil Jenkot elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Lucjan Maziarz in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. Tolek Tyski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Wieslaw Ochylski made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Radomil Jenkot immediately put the ball in play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Banan in the 91st minute of the match. Wieslaw Ochylski made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Radomil Jenkot. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Borussia Dortmund to leave the ground with a draw.
