Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Coventry Wasps's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zhao Ran Ming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Mina's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. A well-hit corner resulted in Emmanuel Reyes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Zhao Ran Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Zhao Ran Ming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Ferrara. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Doughty, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhao Ran Ming narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Doughty in the 38th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Coventry Wasps's corner Pete Munroe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cornelius Baxter hit a great ball. Camilo Ferrara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Pete Munroe put in a rough tackle. 43 minutes into the game, one of Coventry Wasps:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Coventry Wasps:s Zhao Ran Ming showed great skill when he stopped Luz Tejedor:s penalty. After 46 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Cornelius Baxter. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zhao Ran Ming made a huge save. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Mateusz Øager with Mark Booth as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Coventry Wasps's Zhao Ran Ming got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhao Ran Ming read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Mateusz Øager got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sam-Lucas Neirynck. Coventry Wasps's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Mina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mateusz Øager made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Camilo Ferrara immediately put the ball in play. 76 minutes into the game, Mateusz Øager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coventry Wasps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Mateusz Øager kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhao Ran Ming was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes in the game Mateusz Øager did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sam-Lucas Neirynck. Rafael Gallo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Peru's Rafael Gallo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Zack Doughty cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Zhao Ran Ming in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rafael Gallo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Gallo couldn't finish the play. Peru's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
