Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Gdowik in the 4th minute of the match. If Kajetan Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Emanuel Lucila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Alvaro Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Alvaro Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Michael Corleone got a free kick in the 11th minute. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 12th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 20th minute of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Alvaro Raymond sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Alvaro Raymond took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Alvaro Raymond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Despidida AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Raymond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Alvaro Raymond. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Kajetan Gdowik. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Dinu Ivănescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th minute, Dinu Ivănescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Oliver Rizzo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Emiliano Velasco came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Emiliano Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Emiliano Velasco let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 88th minute shot 0-11 at rihgt post. 90 minutes into the match, Emiliano Velasco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-12. In the 94th minute, Dinu Ivănescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. When the final whistle sounded Despidida AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
