Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Koby Wright made the kick off which started today's match. If Rohan Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Jax Williamson made a huge save. In the 11th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Rubin. Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 23rd minute of play. When Canada's Koby Wright in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sheriff's goalie prevented a goal. When Clayton Gol came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sheriff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clayton Gol couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Yahia van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rohan Watson in the 54th minute of the match. Koby Wright received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yahia van der Saar came out and tried to block the shot, but Koby Wright slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 57th minute. Cristiano Cordone kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Yahia van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sheriff's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Dixon was slow to take the kick. During this time Canada's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luka Harris managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Filip Edwards tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yahia van der Saar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 82 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Sancho Denner. Damaso Xacintu took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 88th minute Prince Anderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Edwards in the 89th minute of play. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sheriff were victorious despite being under pressure from Canada for much of the match.
