Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kant Cooley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Sam-Lucas Neirynck got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Zhao Ran Ming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 6th minute of the match. Zhao Ran Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Zhao Ran Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kant Cooley, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Kant Cooley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kant Cooley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zhao Ran Ming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zack Doughty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kant Cooley in the 29th minute of play. USA were furious when Fabian Brown was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Camilo Ferrara walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Coventry Wasps's Pete Munroe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Camilo Ferrara tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 46th minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Kant Cooley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kant Cooley in the 48th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monty Rogers to make the kick off. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 57th minute of play. Zhao Ran Ming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 64th minute of play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. After a defensive mix-up in Coventry Wasps's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhao Ran Ming came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Camilo Ferrara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Sigmar Gustafson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Day. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. After 81 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Zack Doughty. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigmar Gustafson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Camilo Ferrara took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mark Booth hit a great ball. Zhao Ran Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 96 minutes into the game, USA's Khalid Parry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zhao Ran Ming made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
