After having played for 21 minutes, Filomeno Tormes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asturcones d´la Abadía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Tormes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
