The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Vinny Tusk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gladiators Milošová's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aykan İsmet came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Aykan İsmet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Felix Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykan İsmet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 16 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aykan İsmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Gladiators Milošová's Aykan İsmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 played minutes FC Gladiators Milošová got a freekick which was hit by Vinny Tusk. After 39 minutes FC Gladiators Milošová's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Vinny Tusk tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Aykan İsmet in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Aykan İsmet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Anselmo Fioriti's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ibrahim Hanif managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gladiators Milošová's supporters rose to their feet, but Ibrahim Hanif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
