Cris Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute. Wambalamba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Cris Courtois, making the score, 2-0. In the 63rd minute Juarês Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 92nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Steckamp in the 94th minute of the match. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wambalamba FC for a fine match.
