Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dinu Grecea made the kick off and thus started the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Tizian Stange. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tizian Stange in the 10th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Dragons XI's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Alejo Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Fe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Sebastián Puig went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dinu Grecea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc-Dominic Schnurrer hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinu Grecea. Alejo Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dragons XI's Tizian Stange. But to his dismay, Tizian Stange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 30 played minutes Dragons XI got a freekick which was hit by Marc-Dominic Schnurrer. 34 minutes into the match, Juan Sebastián Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Fe. Dragons XI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Sebastián Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Fe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dragons XI's Alejo Fe did a great save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Dragons XI got a freekick which was hit by Renato Leonhard.

Daniel Zorita spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Dragons XI's goal. Alejo Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Alejo Fe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Dragons XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Breda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alejo Fe made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. After 64 minutes Dragons XI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Pang Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Pang Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragons XI made a substitution. Andrew Müller replaced Renato Leonhard. The supporters of Dragons XI booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alejo Fe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pang Hong in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dragons XI.
