Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) WZG Sandomierz's Roch Marosz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind WZG Sandomierz's goalkeeper Wincenty Bielecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Uruguay booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Juchno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zdzislaw Purzycki got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jerzy Winszman. Zdzislaw Purzycki made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jerzy Winszman immediately put the ball in play. In the 21st minute, Zdzislaw Purzycki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 played minutes WZG Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Roch Marosz. 24 minutes into the game, Jerzy Winszman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WZG Sandomierz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After a rather tough play, WZG Sandomierz's Jerzy Winszman got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Hajduk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wincenty Bielecki could save by the left post. Wincenty Bielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roch Marosz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wincenty Bielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wincenty Bielecki made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Zdzislaw Purzycki made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wasyl Juchno. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Marosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, WZG Sandomierz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Juchno to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wincenty Bielecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roch Marosz. In the 67th minute of the match Napoleon Odachowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of WZG Sandomierz booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Gisbert struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Wincenty Bielecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After a defensive mix-up in WZG Sandomierz's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincenty Bielecki came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerzy Winszman made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. After a defensive mix-up in WZG Sandomierz's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincenty Bielecki came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to WZG Sandomierz getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Leonard Hajduk hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WZG Sandomierz's Wincenty Bielecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Bielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Marosz in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Uruguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
