Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robin Steckamp made the kick off which started today's match. 10 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cris Courtois having to interfere. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Donato in the 17th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Donato in the 29th minute of play. If Brian Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Robin Steckamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Cris Courtois made a huge save. Alberto Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 61st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute of the match. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Luque the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Luque had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. When the referee blew the final whistle, Wambalamba FC could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
