USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Söderström in the 5th minute of play. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 6th minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of USA booed when Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Ariel Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zach Harrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 34 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when USA's Monty Rogers fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gunnar Pettersson in the 48th minute. The corner led Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Gunnar Pettersson to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered loudly when Gunnar Pettersson's long shot in the 48th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Marco Day. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arkın Öğüç made a kick off. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Ariel Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 56th minute of play. With an all-out effort, USA's Ariel Leguizamón threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Leguizamón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
