Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pere Montaña kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Evert Wahlnäs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Evert Wahlnäs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC LIVERPOOL the free kick. In the 15th play minute Pere Montaña came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pere Montaña got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martial Jay's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martial Jay helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phil Porter. FC LIVERPOOL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pere Montaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pere Montaña's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Ashley Wiseman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Bektaş Ali Toper kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pere Montaña in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Jay in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Ashley Wiseman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Ashley Wiseman came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC LIVERPOOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Wiseman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batuhan Yılmaz in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of FC LIVERPOOL booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Montaña in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
