When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Jenssen in the 10th minute of the match. Hans Lilleeng scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dag Anderssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Lilleeng's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sebastian Villa's late challenge caught a Kovlands IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Villa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Jonathan Øren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Hans Lilleeng sent off a good shot on target. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Gregersen having to interfere. Kovlands IF's Leonard Gregersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Gregersen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Hans Lilleeng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovlands IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Lilleeng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonard Gregersen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Anderssen in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Gregersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Lilleeng made a kick off. Leonard Gregersen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Kovlands IF's Leonard Gregersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 59th minute of play forced Kovlands IF's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Lilleeng in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, Kovlands IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Lilleeng to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Gregersen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luca Espinar. In the 64th minute, one of Kovlands IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kovlands IF. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Dag Anderssen made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Noah Tømmervik kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Lilleeng during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when Kovlands IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Lilleeng didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Hans Lilleeng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Leon Jenssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Anderssen in the 91st minute of play. The Kovlands IF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
