In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Catarinense's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lewis van Dijk hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Dogelo's Lewis van Dijk got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Frank Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dogelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Frank Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristóf Földes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After taking down the ball on Dogelo's corner Ahmet Danış Garipbaş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Ahmet Danış Garipbaş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Kristóf Földes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Kristóf Földes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Catarinense in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristóf Földes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Frank Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Catarinense in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Catarinense in the 55th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristóf Földes in the 58th minute of play. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dogelo made a substitution. Oliverios Marcilla replaced Frank Catarinense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliverios Marcilla in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliverios Marcilla went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Dogelo's Jardel Tande got a free kick in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Oliverios Marcilla notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Oliverios Marcilla notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oliverios Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Oliverios Marcilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliverios Marcilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Kristóf Földes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Dogelo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
