In the 4thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kovlands IF's Leonard Gregersen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Noah Tømmervik threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kovlands IF's goalie prevented a goal. Hans Lilleeng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Milagros Cabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Kovlands IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Noah Tømmervik charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noah Tømmervik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Kovlands IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noah Tømmervik to maneuver through the defense. During the 18th minute of the match Noah Tømmervik completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Noah Tømmervik a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play forced Kovlands IF's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Anderssen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Leonard Gregersen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 41 minutes into the match, Kovlands IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Leonard Gregersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kovlands IF's Leonard Gregersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute of play. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kovlands IF's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Honduras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonard Gregersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John-Einar Astrup hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Leonard Gregersen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Villa in the 60th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Kovlands IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torvald Lundby to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Jenssen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kovlands IF booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jonathan Øren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, Leon Jenssen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 82 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Leonard Gregersen managed to make a qualified save. Kovlands IF's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Kovlands IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonard Gregersen. In the 89th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 minutes, Hans Lilleeng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kovlands IF and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hans Lilleeng kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Gregersen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Honduras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
