The supporters of KS Piast Cieszyn booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Pacho Maldini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Boguslaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th play minute Bartlomiej Adamus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Bartlomiej Adamus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartlomiej Adamus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, KS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Boguslaw Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Abram Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Boguslaw Kaczanek. KS Piast Cieszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Bartlomiej Adamus took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play forced KS Piast Cieszyn's goalkeeper Boguslaw Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergincan Genişyürek in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Boguslaw Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Boguslaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Pitta made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. In the 70th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Adamus in the 71st minute of the match. Boguslaw Kaczanek made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Boguslaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KS Piast Cieszyn's Best Speed was substituted for Ergincan Genişyürek. 77 minutes into the game, Luís Pitta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 86th minute, Best Speed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Piast Cieszyn's Andrzej Gierasik. But to his dismay, Andrzej Gierasik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KS Piast Cieszyn had won after a very even match.
