Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Coventry Wasps's Kant Cooley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kant Cooley in the 6th minute of play. After 10 minutes Coventry Wasps's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Koby Wright who took care of the corner kick. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Ferrara in the 12th minute of play. Coventry Wasps's Zhao Ran Ming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Coventry Wasps from getting a goal against them. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ferrara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Camilo Ferrara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coventry Wasps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jan Dixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zhao Ran Ming. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Dixon ran back to his position shaking his head. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Dixon in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Koby Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhao Ran Ming was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coventry Wasps's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Koby Wright was slow to take the kick. During this time Canada's players had a chance to rest. Canada's Alfred John managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mateusz Øager in the 29 minute of the game. When Jan Dixon came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Dixon couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Mccarthy came free, but Zhao Ran Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Dixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zhao Ran Ming. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Dixon ran back to his position shaking his head. Zhao Ran Ming made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jan Dixon sent off a good shot on target. After 45 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Nate Mills. Pete Munroe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 47th minute of play. The Canada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coventry Wasps were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Koby Wright made the kick off in the second half. Zhao Ran Ming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Dixon in the 59th minute of the match. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kant Cooley in the 60th minute of play. Mateusz Øager made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Camilo Ferrara. Thanks to some nice moves Camilo Ferrara could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Jax Williamson however easily saved by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Jan Dixon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Coventry Wasps's Zhao Ran Ming. Zhao Ran Ming was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Sigmar Gustafson replaced Kant Cooley. Zhao Ran Ming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Mccarthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Doughty in the 75th minute of play. Richard Mccarthy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute Richard Mccarthy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Ran Ming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Zhao Ran Ming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Coventry Wasps for a fine match.
