Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Saṃsāra Social Club's Cornelio Celipe got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 4 played minutes Saṃsāra Social Club got a freekick which was hit by Fabiën van der Bij. Cornelio Celipe made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Lartaun in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Saṃsāra Social Club got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximino Guifre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Saṃsāra Social Club's Maximino Guifre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16thth minute of the game Maximino Guifre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Celipe made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 27 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximino Guifre who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Saṃsāra Social Club's Cornelio Celipe got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Saṃsāra Social Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Celipe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Maximino Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saṃsāra Social Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Guifre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Agustín Saelices slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornelio Celipe. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Guifre to make the kick off. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Fabiën van der Bij tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Saṃsāra Social Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cornelio Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cornelio Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of play forced Saṃsāra Social Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiën van der Bij kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Saṃsāra Social Club's Cornelio Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Saṃsāra Social Club defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Celipe. The Saṃsāra Social Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Celipe should have stopped the shot. Saṃsāra Social Club's Young Draper was substituted for Shannon Woodard. After 76 played minutes Saṃsāra Social Club got a freekick which was hit by Milan McCollum. After having played for 78 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Saṃsāra Social Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cornelio Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saṃsāra Social Club's goalie prevented a goal. Cornelio Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 91st minute of the match. Felix Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
