Aleksander Marciewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play forced Inter de Urquiza's goalkeeper Aleksander Marciewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, 史宽军 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Urquiza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Aleksander Marciewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Marciewicz having to interfere. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute 史宽军 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksander Marciewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Inter de Urquiza's 史宽军 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Urquiza's goalkeeper Aleksander Marciewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Inter de Urquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Haugbølle to maneuver through the defense. Inter de Urquiza's Aleksander Marciewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Urquiza from getting a goal against them. Sonni Garlet got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Omar Selmo. Aleksander Marciewicz made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Aleksander Marciewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Joaquim Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Inter de Urquiza's Tobias Markel got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 80th match minute, Inter de Urquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonni Garlet to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Inter de Urquiza's Tobias Markel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. In the 91st minute of the match Dario Cvitanich shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Inter de Urquiza players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
