In the 26th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vila Industrial FC's Falcão Viana got a free kick in the 27th minute. The throw-in from Wiliam Viana in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benê Simão was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ravi Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benê Simão. Jaime Pardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 47th minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper Benê Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Pirani to make the kick off. Benê Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Vila Industrial FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Benê Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Jose Sanz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Industrial FC the free kick. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jose Sanz hit a great ball. Benê Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 68th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play Vila Industrial FC's Ravi Lopes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Vila Industrial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ravi Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benê Simão saved Vila Industrial FC from getting behind. Benê Simão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Covarrubias went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper Benê Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vila Industrial FC's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
