An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Ånger in the 13th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Björn Ekegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Överman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Säfvahöjden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Ambrosini the free kick. Alf Kullgren didn't quite understand what happened when in the 19 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 21st minute, Håkan Petersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Ekegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A hard shot 24 in the game by Håkan Petersson from a close distance when the talented Björn Ekegren managed to make a qualified save. SSC Ambrosini's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Håkan Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Säfvahöjden's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Petersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Ekegren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Säfvahöjden's Håkan Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Sonny Wallin put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Björn Ekegren.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Wallin made a kick off. Björn Ekegren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Håkan Petersson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Petersson in the 56th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Björn Ekegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Säfvahöjden booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Ekegren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Petersson went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alf Kullgren hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's Oskar Hääger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Ekegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Petersson in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SSC Ambrosini's Kasper Kristiansson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Säfvahöjden made a substitution. Van Schouten replaced Sonny Wallin. Håkan Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 minutes, Torsten Soned mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SSC Ambrosini and the Säfvahöjden players grew even worse after the yellow card. Torsten Soned hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Håkan Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Håkan Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Björn Ekegren. SSC Ambrosini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Säfvahöjden players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
