The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dobromir Dziewedik's late challenge caught a KD Stiger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dobromir Dziewedik helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Tolsson in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sad Keep saved Yelonki from getting behind. In the 9th match minute, Yelonki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Karanewski to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Pål Strömberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KD Stiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yelonki the free kick. In the 12th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Löfkvist. After 31 minutes of play, Yelonki's Dag Laskowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustaf Rudberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaf Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Lepucki in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind KD Stiger's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonard Lepucki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustaf Rudberg having to make a save. Dobromir Dziewedik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaf Rudberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Dag Laskowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Tolsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Dag Laskowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 59 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dag Laskowski. Gustaf Rudberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Lepucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. KD Stiger made a substitution. Josef Mårtensson replaced Benjamin Skytte. The supporters of Yelonki booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Arne Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dag Laskowski in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustaf Rudberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 83 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dag Laskowski. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Hugon Pryputnicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Rudberg came out of the goal and Hugon Pryputnicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, KD Stiger's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugon Pryputnicki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 91st match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Christoffersson to maneuver through the defense. Gustaf Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugon Pryputnicki in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Wiktor Hendzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Yelonki could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KD Stiger throughout the match.
