The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Petersson came free, but Nono Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Albins Kamrater's Måns Petersson got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Albins Kamrater booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Albom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Säfvahöjden's Nono Gol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Säfvahöjden from getting a goal against them. In the 10th match minute, Albins Kamrater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes of play, Säfvahöjden's Håkan Petersson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sivert Frykberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Håkan Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Frykberg having to interfere. Nono Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Wallin in the 30th minute of play. Håkan Petersson scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sivert Frykberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Oskar Wiklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Säfvahöjden's supporters rose to their feet, but Oskar Wiklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sivert Frykberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Petersson in the 41st minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Sivert Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Albins Kamrater booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Överman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Säfvahöjden were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sonny Wallin to make the kick off. Håkan Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Håkan Petersson sped through Albins Kamrater's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sivert Frykberg. The throw-in from Daniel Rang in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Säfvahöjden's Mattias Albom. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sakarias Wallin in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nono Gol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sivert Frykberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Wallin went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Säfvahöjden's Nono Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Petersson in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Säfvahöjden's Håkan Petersson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sivert Frykberg. Sivert Frykberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After 81 minutes of play, Säfvahöjden's Håkan Petersson made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sivert Frykberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Van Schouten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sivert Frykberg, 0-8. In the 90th minute, Håkan Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albins Kamrater's Sivert Frykberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Albins Kamrater from getting a goal against them. Lars-Erik Överman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Frykberg having to interfere. When the match was over Säfvahöjden could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Albins Kamrater throughout the match.
