Howling Dawn U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Palos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Howling Dawn U18's Axl Rose got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axl Rose in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Santxol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benicio Santxol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axl Rose's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Denis Tristan's late challenge caught a Howling Dawn U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Tristan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Gerard Way left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Howling Dawn U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 30 minutes into the game, Axl Rose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Benicio Santxol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the A.F Cuervos Azulgranas defense, Romulo Palos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Santxol. The A.F Cuervos Azulgranas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Santxol should have stopped the shot. Romulo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Howling Dawn U18 fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Howling Dawn U18's Axl Rose looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axl Rose to strike the kick off in the second half. Howling Dawn U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott Weiland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Santxol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benicio Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Walme in the 84th minute.
