The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Benjamin Skytte took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nono Gol to make any attempt to save it. Gustaf Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Wallin in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Per Kjellberg got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sonny Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Gustaf Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Säfvahöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Stålman to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Säfvahöjden getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ove Stålman hit a great ball. Gustaf Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Ånger in the 28th minute of play. Säfvahöjden were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after KD Stiger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oskar Hääger took the corner. The corner led Säfvahöjden's Oskar Hääger to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustaf Rudberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KD Stiger's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Per-Arne Löfkvist hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Oskar Hääger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaf Rudberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Jack Tolsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nono Gol. Jack Tolsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sigvard Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Rudberg having to interfere. Gustaf Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Petersson in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jack Tolsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Wallin got free with Gustaf Rudberg in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute of the match, Sonny Wallin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustaf Rudberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sigvard Ånger kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Säfvahöjden's Van Schouten was substituted for Sonny Wallin. The crowd rose to their feet as Van Schouten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustaf Rudberg. That made the score 2-1 in the 80 minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Mårtensson came free, but Nono Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Petersson came free, but Gustaf Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Ånger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gustaf Rudberg made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
