The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albins Kamrater were furious when Arne Strömberg was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 6th minute of the match, Simon Igelström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sivert Frykberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oskar Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Sigvard Ånger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Frykberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Petersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sivert Frykberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Håkan Petersson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sivert Frykberg. A collision led to Albins Kamrater getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Roger Rosin hit a great ball. Oskar Hääger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Håkan Petersson let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 29th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. A collision led to Säfvahöjden getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lars-Erik Överman hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Sonny Wallin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Albins Kamrater's Sivert Frykberg. Sivert Frykberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Säfvahöjden's Sonny Wallin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nono Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Wallin in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Albins Kamrater booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Olofinjana didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Wallin made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Albins Kamrater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Colin to maneuver through the defense. If Håkan Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Petersson in the 56th minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Sivert Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Säfvahöjden's Håkan Petersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sivert Frykberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Ånger in the 62nd minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Sivert Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Albins Kamrater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Wallin to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Petersson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sivert Frykberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Säfvahöjden's Van Schouten was substituted for Sonny Wallin. In the 74th minute, Håkan Petersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Säfvahöjden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Sivert Frykberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Petersson in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Albins Kamrater getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Daniel Rang hit a great ball. Säfvahöjden's Ove Stålman was substituted for Konrad Vennerdal. In the 92nd minute, Arvid Linberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Håkan Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Säfvahöjden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Säfvahöjden were the better team. Säfvahöjden's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
