Howling Dawn U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Bittor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. João Vítor Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Howling Dawn U18's Gerard Way made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Santana tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired João Vítor Guimarães. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-4 in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Alagoano came free, but Santos Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Howling Dawn U18 were awarded a corner. Uriel Lauren went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Howling Dawn U18's corner Uriel Lauren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Vítor Guimarães quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th minute, Abel Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axl Rose, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Juan Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Axl Rose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Howling Dawn U18 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Damasceno to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Howling Dawn U18's João Vítor Guimarães threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Axl Rose, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Axl Rose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Vítor Guimarães was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Santos Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Dionísio in the 56th minute of the match. Uriel Lauren made a great header on Howling Dawn U18's corner, it was just that 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Howling Dawn U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
